I came to Dreamland to help founders, David “Sarge” Neeleman and Maria Neeleman run the day-to-day operations, and to train amateur and professional boxers. In 2015, my wife and I invested in the gym and became Executive Directors of Dreamland Boxing Training Center.

I am an ex-amateur boxer who earned a #3 ranking in the 132 lbs. division in Central California in 1982. I was trained by highly respected professional trainer/boxer, Angelo Rogers. In 1987, Angelo became the head trainer for the Santa Clara PAL Boxing Program. Angelo needed help training the youth, so I became a boxing coach under Angelo’s watchful eye, and have enjoyed coaching ever since.

I enjoy training and mentoring youths and young adults. My goal has always been to dedicate myself in being the best trainer/mentor I can be. I strive to develop strength and improve the weaknesses of each individual I train.

My favorite boxers are Salvador Sanchez, Alexis Arguello, and Marvin Hagler.

I was born and raised in Fresno, California. I moved to San Jose in 1983, where I met my wife, Gina. We have been married for 30 wonderful years, and San Jose has been our home.
